Harrisonburg OB/GYN has an onsite phlebotomist.  If a test requires special instructions she will be able to assist you. Her hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm. If you have questions phone (540) 434-3831 and ask to speak with the LabCorp representative.

How soon will I receive the results of my tests?

That depends on the test ordered.  You may ask when we expect to have the results but before any test result can be given it must be reviewed; sometimes that can take several days past the time we actually recieved your results.  The Providers and staff understand the need for releasing test results ASAP. Please check our messaging system DialTell for test results.  Below are instructions for accessing your secure message:

I was told to "fast" before I had my blood drawn. What does that mean?

This means you are to not eat or drink anything, but water, after midnight the day you plan to have your blood drawn.
